STS Italia Workshop ‘More and more and more. Problematizing transition within a new history of energy’

The workshop titled “More and more and more. Problematizing transition within a new history of energy” will feature a presentation by Jean-Baptiste Fressoz from the EHESS – CNRS, Centre de Recherches Historiques, Paris. The workshop will address the evolution of the concept of “Energy Transition” across time showing how energy systems tend to accumulate and persist rather than replace one another. Fressoz will dialogue with Ilenia Picardi and Dario Minervini (University of Naples Federico II) acting as discussants. The seminar is chaired by Claudio Coletta (University of Bologna) organized in collaboration with the THESEUS – Center on Technology, Society and Humanity of the Politecnico di Torino and introduced by Vera Tripodi (THESEUS). The event will be held in person at THESEUS headquarter (Corso Montevecchio 38 10129 Torino). Participation is free.
